Volunteer Driver Program

As part of Mid-State Transit, the Volunteer Driver Program (VDP) offers door-to-door services, feeder services, and transportation services to elderly or adults with disabilities to get to medical appointments that are outside riders service area or areas the MST buses do not serve. Volunteer drivers use their own vehicles to assist the MST program in bringing eligible riders to medical appointments.  All drivers are vetted through our application process, they must hold appropriate level auto-insurance and are provided a mileage reimbursement
