Every day, individuals and families throughout Belknap and Merrimack Counties face homelessness, housing insecurity, and barriers to finding a safe, stable place to call home. For those living without shelter, particularly during New Hampshire's harsh winters and extreme weather conditions, access to timely assistance can mean the difference between life and death.

At the Community Action Partnership of Belknap-Merrimack Counties (CAPBM), our Street Outreach and Housing Stabilization team works directly with some of our communities' most vulnerable neighbors, connecting them with essential resources, housing opportunities, and the support needed to achieve lasting stability. For many of the people we serve, this work is more than housing assistance. It is life saving assistance.

Donations to Homeless Services may help support essential needs such as transportation, identification documents, basic necessities, housing related expenses, and other critical resources that help individuals and families overcome barriers to stability. These seemingly small interventions can make an extraordinary difference, helping people access safety, essential services, and opportunities that might otherwise remain out of reach.

From meeting people where they are through street outreach to helping households obtain and maintain permanent housing, our work is rooted in dignity, compassion, and the belief that everyone deserves a safe place to call home.
